Health GIS KNOPPIX

はじめに

Health GIS KNOPPIXは、(独)産業技術総合研究所がリリースしているKNOPPIX日本語版にGIS/GPS関連ソフトウェアをインストールして再構築したものである。長崎大学熱帯医学研究所の熱帯医学研修課程におけるGIS/GPS演習講義のために、作成した。例年非公開であったが、本年は著作権の問題がクリアされていると考えられるので、公開に踏み切った。

収録ソフトウェア

容量の関係でgameやマルチメディア関係ソフトウェア、OpenOffice、それららgimpを削除してある。

ダウンロードを終了したら、正しくダウンロードできたかどうかMD5チェックサムでファイルの同一性を確認してください。

確認方法

上記の2つのファイルを同じディレクトリに置き、md5sumコマンドを実行。


$ md5sum -c health-gis-knoppix-jp-20050527.iso.md5

使用方法

ダウンロードしたisoファイルをお手持ちのCD-RドライブなどでCD-Rに焼きます。あとは、CDブート可能なパソコンならばCDドライブに入れて電源を入れるだけです。

参考

CD-Rを焼くソフトウェアのほとんどがisoファイルからCD-Rを作成する機能を持っています。取扱説明書には、イメージ（またはイメージファイル）から CD-Rを焼く場合などと説明されていると思います。
